Thanksgiving 2009

We had a great thanksgiving this year, spent Thursday at the Peveto household and then headed up to Chickasha, OK for Cavin Thanksgiving. Lauren did great in Oklahoma, and her great-grandparents just loved seeing and holding her. We also picked up some great artwork done by my cousin Dylan- two paintings of our dog Haley who passed away last summer.

Lauren is 2 months old!

Well- Lauren had her two month appointment yesterday! She now weighs 9lb 4.5oz and is 21.25 inches long. She is really starting to be aware of her surroundings, and is now liking her swing with the mobile. She is smiling and starting to make cooing sounds that are so cute. she is also very patient when her mommy wants to do photo shoots out in the yard:)

Bouncy Chair fun

Lauren's favorite spot is in the bouncy chair. Sometimes this is the only place she will sleep...we are working on that!

Announcement card photo shoot

We took some pictures of Lauren out in the sun room, to use for our birth announcement card. Here are the rest of the pics. I think she is about a month old here. The beautiful hat and blanket are courtesy of Aunt Jenny.

Lauren's first pumpkin patch

Our friends had a birthday party for their son at the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch, so we decided to take Lauren. Of course it was the first sunny weekend in awhile and the weather was awesome, so it was PACKED. But we did manage to take a couple of pics.

Lauren is 1 month old!

I can't believe it has been a month since Lauren arrived! She weighed in at 7lb 14oz today and is 20.75in. She is right about in the 50th percentile for weight, right in the middle. She is definitely a night owl like her daddy, so we have kind of been on shifts to try and get some sleep. She is opening her eyes more, and looking around now, and she is getting a lot more hair. She is so cute :)

Lauren is two weeks old!

Lauren is two weeks old today! She went to the doctor and she weighs in now at 7lbs and 1.5 oz. She is 20.5 in long. She is a total sweetie and sleeps well, for the most part. She has a fussy period right in the middle of the night, so that has been fun! My mom was a great help while she was here and we definitely miss her. Grandpa Cavin joined us for a few days and that was fun as well.
